There are two main shopping centres in Leicester - the Haymarket Centre and Highcross Leicester. Haymarket Shopping Centre is in the heart of the city centre and is home to many high street stores including Primark, TK Max, Currys, Pandora, Clarks, Sports Direct, Claires, Boots and many more. The Highcross Centre includes Debehams, Charlie Browns, H&M, Henleys, Karen Millan, Vibe, The Disney Store and many many more and also is home to The Cinema De Lux.

Leicester is famous for it's large indoor market said to be the biggest in the UK, and said to be where Gary Lineker onced worked as a boy. Its open monday to saturday and has over 270 stalls. The market sells a lot o fruit and veg but also sells clothes, books, bric a brac. On the last wednesday of every month there is a local farmers market.
