Places to visit in Leicester

This city is located in the East Midlands in England, at the Edge of National Forest and on River Soar. With a rich history, Leicester has a wide number of activities and attractions that people can check out as the visit the city. Some of these attractions include:

Abbey Park

This premier park is located a mile north of the City Center and has beautiful evergreen trees and shrubs and lakes, as well as the ruins of the17th Century Cavendish House and 12th Century Leicester Abbey.

Great Central Railway

Visitors will go back into time by visiting The Great Central Railway, which has been restored. It is a part of what worse the trunk Route from Manchester to London. Guests can also dine in style while at the railway.

Gorse Hill City Farm

National Space Museum

The visitors will be able to view a wide collection of the artifacts and paintings that will inform them more about the Sikh culture and history.

Bradgate Park

The park is located between Anstey, Linford, Swithland, Woodhouse and Cropston. Visitors can enjoy the landscape and even see some animals, or visit the ruins of the Bradgate House.
