There is plenty to do in Leicester.

There are lots of excellent restaurants, including some top Asian cuisine. There are lots of great pubs and clubs and live venues. There are some interesting museums, some beautiful parks and countryside to explore.

Food and Drink

Leicester if often referred to as the curry capital of Britain because of the number of fantastic Indian restaurants. The Golden Mile is a stretch of road on Belgrave Rd renowned for its many authentic Indian restaurants.

There is also a choice of English, Greek, Mexican, Italian, Spanish tapas bars, Arabic and Oriental restaurants in Leicester.

Museums in Leicester

There are lots of good museums in Leicester, including the The City Museum, Belgrave Hall, New Walk museum and at gallery, The guldhall, Newarke Houses and Abbey Pumping station.

Pubs and Clubs in Leicester

Leicester has a huge amount of pubs and clubs. Some of our favourites are Varsity, Revolution< The Quay. Some our favourite clubs are Mosh, Soho, Life and Niche. If you like live music then head for The Turkey Cafe, The Charlotte, Cafe Bruxelles and Bistro Live.

Cinema

There a a few cinemas in Leicester but the main ones are The Showcase and Vue.

Theatres
